<div style="clear:both;padding-top:8px;"><DIV><FONT size=2>Thursday was the official kick off for raising air quality flags at Mossdale School to educate students and inform the surrounding community of the conditions in the air. Mossdale School in partnership with the American Lung Association, Health Plan of San Joaquin, the SJ Valley Air Pollution Control District, worked to make the kick off a success with over 40 asthmatic students attending joined by parents, the communication elective class, and MUSD health services. The daily raising of the flags and the colors associated with each flag will be an easy way for the students, families, and the communty to monitor and adjust to have a healthier day at home and school. We hope the air quality flag program will help to empower the students and improve health.</FONT></DIV></div>
