Biography

Don Halseth is a product of the Manteca Unified School District. He attended grammar school in Manteca and was a member of the first graduating class of East Union in 1969. His educational career began as a junior high teacher at Golden West School. His early administrative experience included vice principal positions at Golden West School and Lincoln Elementary School. In 1989, he became the principal of Lathrop School and served in this position until he was selected for a District offices position in 1998. Don lives in Ripon with his wife Leslie. They have two children who are currently attending college. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys the outdoors.
