Welcome to Manteca Unified School District

Welcome!  The Manteca Unified School District is made up of thirty schools which work hard to deliver a world class educational program to all students in a manner that ensures a culturally proficient safe learning and working environment.  The strength of this District lies in the committed, talented, and caring staff that works hard day in and day out to meet the needs of the individual students we serve.  Public education currently faces many challenges in our continuing quest to provide students with a world class education.  The economy and the California budget have limited the economic resources we have to work with here in Manteca Unified.  In response to our budget being reduced by almost 20%, class sizes have increased as we have reduced staffing at all levels of the system.  In spite of the challenges we face, I and the staff of Manteca Unified are committed to not only surviving, but thriving in 2010-2011.

PATH OF EXCELLENCE

In August 2010, the School Board readopted the Board Goals and Objectives. While the goals did not change, objectives were modified, added, and deleted to address the current ongoing needs of the District. In an effort to keep the Board goals and objectives current and relevant the Path of Excellence was developed.
